In the followig tutorial, I'll demonstrate an easy method to modeling a floral-style star ball, without any add-ons or plugins. This is an addendum to my previous star ball tutorial, in which we used a tool that was very specific to 3dsmax. The workflow presented in this example is universal to most 3d modeling techniques, and could easily translate to any capable polygon modeling package; like Maya, Modo, or Blender.
