Spiralitis - A 3D animation of spiral motionKeeping with the motion graphics theme of spirals and sacred geometry, this video was created after some quick experimentation with 3d object pattern arrays and automated keyframes. I used numbers from the Fibonacci sequence (which you will see in almost all my motion graphics works) and let the array generate shapes in 3D space by itself. The process is very organic and very much like fractal art in a way, because the results are based almost solely on algorithms and parametric input. The only manual intervention I provided here was setting up the parameters of the array, the camera motion, and the final editing. Of course, there was some color correction and other post-processing done in After Effects and Premiere after the fact, but the animation and patterns created in this short clip were all organic as the array evolved along the timeline. There were a few surprising shapes I think you'll find visually pleasing here. The music and sound were add
In Bloom - 3D Animated GeometryHi, everyone. First, I just want to again thank you all for the incredible support and well wishes. I'm still in recovery here but getting better every week. Working on some 3D motion graphics and animations has been very therapeutic for me as well, so here's my latest offering. This was an experimental particle animation of some 3d spheres in which I was attempting to find some new patterns of color and motion. I really didn't have an "end goal" so to speak with this one, but I was really pleasantly surprised by the way it turned out. The only thing I was sure of going into this was the color scheme. Everything else kind of fell into place as I played around with settings and nodes. I call this one "In Bloom" for lack of a better term. I feel like it represents growth and cycles of life in the way it assembles itself and then the patterns of colors emerging as the particles progressively age. I hope you enjoy.
Chromium Beat - 3D AnimationA short animation inspired by the art and patterns found in nature all around us. Thank you all for the continued support. I truly appreciate everyone and hope you are all doing well. I'll try to make another post before the holiday. Enjoy.
